Instructions:-

TO START
Press [ON/OFF] to turn the device on. Press [?C/?F] for about 4 seconds to choose the temperature unit. To place the battery, open the battery
receptacle under the location of the cable. Unwind the cable, remove the cover as shown (PULL) to reposition or insert a new battery.

MAXIMUM/MINIMUM FUNCTION
Press [MAX/MIN] button to display the maximum reading and the MAX symbol will flash. Press [MAX/MIN] once more to show the minimum
reading, a MIN symbol will flash. Press [MAX/MIN] button again to return to normal display. Press [MAX/MIN] and [ON/OFF] simultaneously to clear the memory .

DATA HOLD FUNCTION
Press [HOLD] button once to retain the display reading and the unit symbol will flash. Press [HOLD] button again to return to normal display.

TEMPERATURE ALARM SETTING
Press [SET] button and the HI value (default is OFF) will flash . Use the [UP]
and [DOWN] keys to set the desired alarm high temperature limit . Press
[SET] button once more and the LO value (default is OFF) will flash . Use the
[UP] and [DOWN] keys to set the desired alarm low temperature limit. Press
[SET] again to finish the setting . If the temperature value is outside of the set
range, the alarm will ring . Press any button to stop the alarm sound but the
HI or LO icon will keep flash until the temperature is within the set limit.
